Venture Christian Church
When two of the largest churches in Northern California decided to merge, they hired Refresh to develop their brand identity, launch communications and website.

Trademark Study
We designed a number of preliminary marks based on a comprehensive brand audit performed by Refresh partner, Thrive Communications.

These concepts are based on pre-determined brand attributes and characteristics that address important visual tenets to the client.

Final Trademark
The final trademark is a typographical solution that borrows from a variation derived from the afore mentioned trademark study.

The "V" represents the coming together of two communities into one. Where two congregations, one older in demographic and one younger are uniting paths. The "V" also represents hope and evokes energy and motion. These are all qualities that the client is very fond of.

Launch!
Refresh applied the new trademark to crisp, clean direct-mail, regional newspaper advertisements and door-hangers to get the word out.

We also delivered a relevant newsletter masthead and layout, and, an all new website. The launch was very successful!

We hope you enjoyed this case-study. It's important when building a new brand or revitalizing an existing one to remember that the process requires time, patience insight and vision.
